UPDATE ON SUMMER 2008 SESSIONS 

The administration has revised the newly developed schedule for the summer sessions. The new schedule for summer 2008 will be as follows. 

          Summer I   May 27th   through          June 26th

          Summer I-L          Renamed Summer II      June 2nd through July 3rd

          Summer II       Renamed Summer III   July 7th   through August 7th

          Summer II-L   No longer exists

 The new calendar can be found on the Academic Senate Website as noted below.

            All summer sessions meet four days a week for 20 days. 
     

Correction and Update on the 2008

Adjunct Scholarships 

In the last edition of the VANGUARD, the Lea Schein Scholarship in Memory of Paul Moch should have been listed as a $500 (not $300) award. Also not listed was a new scholarship sponsored by the Blake family—the $1,000 Robert F. Blake Memorial Scholarship for an English major.

And lastly, the deadline for applications is not Friday March 7, but Tuesday March 11. Applications will be available throughout the campus and online at www.collegeadjuncts.org.
